Boutographies 2026 Program

Since its beginnings, the Boutographies have forged links with local associations and beyond. Find for this year the actions that make these links.

The communication of the festival

The Festival's poster

Without a doubt, the oldest that we have maintained since 2007, and the closest with our photographers. This collaborative project results in an order, placed with a photographer, who participated in the Boutographies. This order has a duration of 5 years and is remunerated at €500 per year of production.

Since 2007, four photographers have succeeded each other. Tilby Vattard, Swen Renault, Emile Loreaux et Peter Franck

Writing Workshops

Faculty of Science

This project is designed in partnership with the Faculty of Science thanks to the support of Jean-Michel Marin, director and dean. Sonia Chalbi leads creative writing workshops that are offered to scientific students as part of a general knowledge course. These workshops use the exhibition proposed by Les Boutographies as a support for expression and contribution to literary references. In 2023 and 2024, the exhibitions of Camilla de Maffei and Pierre Liebaert, installed at the Pavillon Populaire as part of the Carte blanche des Boutographies, provided the support for a writing workshop. In 2025 and 2026, the exhibition-support is now installed in the emblematic building at the entrance of the Faculty. To mobilize a maximum of students, the exhibition is hung at the Faculty before the festival dates, from the end of March, and extends until the end of the festival, at the end of May.

After François Winants in 2025, the partner photographer of the project in 2026 is Cloé Harent, with his series Bruit Rose, created during the residency Tremplin Jeunes Talents Planches Contact at the Deauville festival (2024).

A free workshop, limited to 12 people, is offered to the general public during the Boutographies festival.

Faculty Paul Valery

This project, built in partnership with the University Diploma Animator of Writing Workshops, allows authors of texts to be inspired by photographic series presented in exhibition or projection at the Pavillon Populaire.

The project is supported by the department of modern literature at the University Montpellier Paul-Valéry.

The work is proposed at the Pavillon Populaire
