The International Photography Festivals Association (IPFA) is a global network that brings together photography festivals from around the world to strengthen the photography ecosystem through cooperation, knowledge sharing, and international exchange. Based in Barcelona, IPFA currently connects festivals across multiple continents, creating a platform for dialogue between festival directors, curators, artists, researchers, and cultural institutions.

IPFA works to professionalise the sector, foster sustainable festival models, and increase the international visibility of photography festivals and their communities. Its activities include annual meetings, research reports, professional labs, exhibitions, educational initiatives, and collaborative projects that encourage mobility, diversity, and innovation within the field of photography.
