« What would I have become if I stayed here ? » The photographer returns to his country of origin, South Est Tunisia, trying to understand its young generation, what he used to be only few years back. He meets young people dreaming freedom or simply a job, young Tunisians who sometimes risk their lives to cross the Mediterranean sea. Through this photographic reportage, he questions the familiar to understand it better. He approaches Tunisia like an unknown land, with the desire of getting a fresh look, to capture in the familiarity surrounding him some moments that had slipped away.
