Biographie
Brigitte Lustengerber graduates, in 1996, from a Master degree in social and historical photography from the university of Zurich. Follows multiple years where she works on photography as an author. In 2007, while she lives in New York, she gets a second master degree in fine arts, with a specialisation in artistic photography and medias from Parsons' New School of Design. In 2018, she receives the Grand Prix from the magazine PDNedu and the Merck prize from the festival Darmstädter Tage der Fotografie.
Présentation
Brigitte Lustenberger puts on display and stages complex installations, sorts of cabinets of curiosities that mix objects, images projected, hung on walls... to better evoke the ephemerality of things fascinating her. The beauty of withered flowers, the delicacy of an insect wing, gentle lights on a world that fades, almost already forgotten.
