Présentation

The Independence Palace of Ho Chi Minh City served as the residence of the
President of South Vietnam until 1975, when it was stormed by North Vietnamese
troops. Classified as an historic monument of national significance, the palace and its
inventory are the subject of many reinterpretations, on which Ulrike Hannemann
superimposes her own perception of the place.
