« I’m still looking for myself. For most of the time I am submerged in my thoughts and dreams. Photographing myself helps me to come to terms with the question of identity. The photos reveal a play between recognition and anonymity, between theatricalised performances and plunging into one’s own interior conflict. I hope these images allow a space for the viewers’ imagination, allowing them to relate to their own experiences and needs for identification.”
