Biographie

Marja Streck learns about photography at the Fine Arts Academy of Tilburg, Netherlands. In 2010 she presents her first work "Extraction of the Stone" at the Jheronimus Bosh Art Center, in Hertogenbosh. Two other works, "Waanzinnige Sier" and "Rise & Decline" in 2016 and 2017 are exhibited at the Coda Museum of Apeldoorn as well as the Willem Twee in Hertogenbosh.

This series speaks of serenity. A moment between waking and dreaming. Silence
between two thoughts. A research into her archive images has lead Marja Sterck to very
personal illustrations of emotional states. Each one of her series is defined by a single word
