Perpignan, gypsy district. A look at the evolution of gypsies towards adulthood. Dolls, a metaphor associated with the gypsy patriarchal system, a combination of the sacralized purity of little girls and the hypersexualization of the signs with which they are adorned, but also a contrast between the wild freedom they bear witness to before puberty and the restrictive and normative condition of the married woman.
