Présentation

The inspiration for this work was the death of my grandfather, Dadou. Some time after his funeral, my grandmother gave me his signet ring as an inheritance. I wore it for a long time before losing it while playing in the sea with my sister and my father two years ago. As a result of this event, I have progressively chosen to write about the objects which link us to those we have lost.
The departure point for this work is a loss: it’s someone who is no longer there, but I try to include plenty of people, plenty of intimacy, the nearest and dearest, as if it were already the beginning of an answer for the absence.
