Biographie
Born in Ukraine in 1999, I settled in France at 10 years old and finished my studies in fine arts at Paris VIII. Marked by my exile, every year I photograph my native country and document my journey in connection with my addictions through texts published for Vice and Konbini. In 2021, I resume my studies at the Gobelins school to acquire technical skills. After the beginning of the war in Ukraine in 2022, I self-publish my first zine, «My Last Voyage In This Fucking World», then collaborate with several editions to publish other zines. Currently, I am working on a project entitled 'Only You and Me', which questions the place of women in a robotic world.
Présentation
In strip clubs, the locker rooms are usually located away from the main floor—the gaming room. No outsider, especially no man unrelated to the business, is allowed inside. The locker rooms follow the codes of gendered marketing, with their faux-glamorous vibe, mirrors framed by round lights borrowed from the cinematic imagination, and color palettes of pink, red, or leopard print. This is where the dancers take off their masks, rest, warm up, eat, and complain—mostly about the customers. It’s also where friendships are born.
