Biographie
From 2011 to 2018, Martha Frieda Friedal pursua a master degree in applied art in Kassel's Kunsthochschule. During this time she participates in a dozen exhibitions in Germany, two among those are personnal : one in Valence, Spain -Jamon Iberico- and one in Kassel - Èclat- Die Ernennung des Schönen.
Présentation
Martha Frida Friedel questions the standards that define beauty. In order to do this, she
juxtaposes portraits and objects, architectural elements and forms observed in nature.
These associations, based on aesthetic or psychological criteria, can become the starting
point for challenging notions such as the sublime and lasting or ephemeral trends.
