Biographie
Born in Nîmes and a 2014 graduate of the Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne, Anaïs Boileau is a photographic artist. Her work explores Mediterranean cultures as a source of inspiration. She lives in the south of France, where she alternates between photographic commissions, for magazines in particular, and her own artistic projects. Her work has been shown in various group exhibitions in France and abroad. Several international festivals have also shown an interest in her photographs.
Présentation
I compose my images with scraps of paper, plants, fabrics and recycled materials. I am interested in the raw object, for its materiality and its narrative potential. The object becomes a surface, multiplies under the effect of the sun. I work on my images in an intuitive way, in an artistic gesture which puts forward the color and the form to create the composition
