« Since 2016 I have been working on the theme of exile in Greece. “Breaking Point“ deals with the delay migrants have to face to get their papers. Time stops still, and with the routine comes boredom and discouragement. I spent more than five months in Greece, notably on the isles of Chios and Leros. Faced with the complexity of the subject, I concentrate here on the idea of waiting. That moment of limbo, under tension, that the body and the spirit reject.”
