We weren't using a peeler. We preferred to peel the potatoes with a knife on the newspaper the day before. I found this out when I left home to co-rent.
A few days after I moved in, I went to the sea for a day with the one who would quickly become my friend. In the car, we came across France-Culture; it was about René Char, I remember imitating the presenter. I had obviously never heard of him and at home it was a culture that did not belong to us. We fell on it, we listened to two or three sentences, we laughed before zapping. Fanny was leaving the show.
This project is the culmination in pictures of a questioning that already preoccupied the child, which surely shapes the adult. The feeling of betraying his original background, and the anguish of an inevitable disappearance despite everything.
