In astronomy, the "event horizon" is the limit around a black hole beyond which no event can propagate, producing distortions in space-time. Quentin Lacombe's book Event Horizon is a very personal interpretation of this phenomenon and everything in its images (organic matter, animals, inanimate objects and architectural elements) seems to float along an infinite horizon. The artist uses photography, digital manipulation and collage to give substance to this intimate cosmology.
