Présentation
The story takes place in Charentes during the Worl War II. Angèle and Pierrot love each other. In 1943, Pierrot was required to participate in the construction of a blockhouse on the Gironde estuary. In 1944, he enlisted in an FFI regiment which intervened in the liberation of the Poche de Royan. Angèle was left alone in the village, they write to each other. Through authentic correspondence on postcards of the period, the lives of the two lovers are reconstituted. It is now up to the reader to decipher what was their daily life, by walking among the ruins of the blockhouses that still dot the Atlantic coast.
