THEME OF THE YEAR: EUROPEAN PHOTOGRAPHIC PRESS *

The afternoons of May 5th and 6th will be devoted to portfolio reviews. You will have the opportunity to meet gallery owners, critics, journalists, publishers…who, we are hoping, will be able to provide you the most interesting  feedback, projects, and contacts.

who have been preselected
for the current edition,

or selected

for the Boutographies
past years included.

What happens in each session

For about twenty minutes each photographer will meet a professional to present his/her work, receive personalized feedback and exchange useful contacts.

Objective : I'm interested by photographic works challenging creative conventions in form or content. Over the past few years, STILL has published a broad range of works : from conceptual reportage to still life. I therefore wish to share my thoughts and advices on how to elaborate and put together a meaningful portfolio, both for a personal carrier and for the publishing world.

Objective : Since 1980, the magazine Camera Austria International has been providing its readers with insights into important discourses on the role of photography as a medium and practice of contemporary art—presenting outstanding artists who have made extraordinary contributions to the continual development of the medium. My interest lies in current tendencies in photography with a specific focus on documentary, politically and sociologically informed photography.

Objective : If you have documentary photography projects, long term projects or dummy of the book discussing such issues as globalisation, human rights, social issues, gender issues, ageing, natural environment, politics, migration or personal stories and so on, you can stop by his table.

Objective : The Discovery section of Réponses Photo gives young photographers the opportunity to show the originality and coherence of their approach for the duration of a portfolio review. We select these "New Sights" from the files that are sent to us spontaneously, but also as we meet and fall in love with each other. These meetings with the editorial staff of Réponses Photo, open to all, mutually enriching, are at the heart of the magazine's relationship with its photographer readers.
