"I made this 35mm street photo trip to Tokyo in March 2015. It was the period of Sakura, cherry blossoms, sacred time of the year for the Japanese.
I was indeed aspiring to photograph without thinking after having spent nearly 4 years on the « Subtitles » project. I completely improvised this book about Tokyo: 2 weeks of non-stop photography, then 1 week of editing and graphic design and finally 1 week of pre-press and printing. All in all, a whole month and this spontaneous book existed! »
