H is a personal quest, a search to help me answer a simple question:
“Why did I want and need to go to the Algerian Sahara in search of the ghosts of the 17 French nuclear tests? "
In 3 lightning trips in the regions of the explosions, 20 days on the spot in total, I left to confront myself. I was thinking of my father's childhood in Algiers and of our military family there, of my own childhood in barracks, outside of France, of the heavy silences around Algeria in general when the subject appeared in family, of my trajectory of a musician, specialist in oud, to my great loneliness during these trips, to my countless fears and wanderings from Reggane to Tamanrasset.
