Présentation
The Sainte-Victoire mountain, veritable geographical reference point for the region around Aix-en-Provence, has been a source of inspiration for numerous artist since the XV century. The pictorial image of this mountain constitutes a common patrimonial property, identifiable to all, but nowadays, it is being erased from the landscape under the pressure of development and the economic stakes.
