Alors j’y vais exprès pour tondre les noix is a series about the evolution of Alzheimer’s disease and its consequences on close family members, a personal history halfway between a documentary and an artistic work. It’s also the idea that the photographic medium can permit a lot: at a time where words no longer hold any meaning, only the image allowed me to bond with my father.
