Présentation
Most of the people think of Palestine in terms of conflict and war. They have in mind images of bombs, walls and suffering women. This work shows us women who live through their friends, their team and their sport. Football allows them to be free, in a society that does not give them freedom. The photographer visited refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan to meet passionate footballers. She presents a different image of these women. We can see strong women, free and different in their own way, a point of view close to the image they have of themselves.
