Biographie
Lara Gasparotto (22 years) recognised her vocation early on, as she chose audiovisual and photographic options as her main studies while still at school, reinforced by evening courses at the Academie de Beaux-Arts of Liege. Already widely exhibited in her own country, she has participated in the festival of Guangzhou in China, and at the AK Gallery in Luxemburg. She was selected for Voies Off, Arles, in 2011.
Présentation
Laura Gasporotto is a young artist who has rapidly found a personal approach, characterised by her ability to seize the precarious and unstable instances of young people poised on the edge of adulthood. She is the same age as her subjects, and her need to push the visual limits is also that of a generation in search of stability, of codes, which will eventually protect them from a liberty open to all the desires, all the dangers and all the possibilities.
