Présentation
This work begins in China, during a walk, the photographer perceives a new reality that she wants to fix in an image. The flow of people on bike or scooter passing before her eyes triggers the desire to freeze them. She wants to remember the expression on their faces, the noticeable tiredness, the shapes and the bright colors, the raincoats inflated by the wind and the reactions to the bad weather. The photographer takes portraits of cyclists, under the pouring rain. Her images are fleeting, the faces are vanishing as to capture the truth of a uncertain instant. She uses the flash to freeze the instant and create a moment of presence.
