When I was a child, my father used to take me to small cafés all over Belgium. In 2001, he wrote a book about the last "volkscafés", or popular bistros, in the province of Antwerp. Almost twenty years later, I returned the favor and took my father on a quest to find the last volkscafés in Belgium
