This series is the result of a journey taken by the photographer with the mother and her granddaughter in Poland. In the company of her mother, she goes back to the house she left 25 years ago, the place where the photographer used to spend a week each summer. Floating between remembrance and transmission, with this trip she questions the strangeness and fragility of individual destiny. The work deals with family relationships. The images of this visit to her mother’s birthplace belong to a project investigating family ties.
