Biographie
François Winants is a Belgian artist and graduate of La Cambre. His work explores the climate system and paleoclimatology, at the crossroads of art, design, engineering and science. Between abstraction and objectivity, he develops works that question our relationship with natural phenomena.
Présentation
This series brings together works on the phenomena that structure our climate system. It is presented as a set of invisible stories revealing the forces and temporalities that inhabit our world, while questioning the environment on different scales: local, global and temporal.
She composes the verticality of the landscape as a systemic whole in a world where temporalities are accelerating and humans are becoming the equal of a geological force.
