Présentation
The photographer explores the flats of the senior citizens of the neighborhood "La belle de mai" in Marseille. He takes pictures of the men and women who are weak, but dignified, fragile but rebellious, who all show themselves with modesty. Each photo proposes a different universe, closed by two or three walls but open to a hypothetical elsewhere. The spectator is invited among these people and feels the comforting familiarity of the places. Here the approach of death seems to be very lonely, but it is also touching and reveals a lot of humanity under the gaze of the photographer.
