Biographie
Lise Lacombe is a young photographer who graduated from the Gobelins school in 2009. She subsequently completed her professional training with internships with the agency L’Oeil Public and the Agence France Presse in their Jerusalem bureau. In 2010 she photographed for les Editions du Rouergue, ran workshops in a high school, and produced two exhibitions: Mittelwerk Express (FEMIS, Paris) and “Daniel, a life on the bottle” around a short film of the same title Musée des Abattoirs, Toulouse). She is a member of the artists collective Silures.
Présentation
The Line of Lost Souls unveils a microcosm of society’s dissidents,
and reveals a phenomenon which is anything but isolated; becoming more and more frequent in the towns and countryside of France. Beatnicks, hippies, drop-outs or simply youngsters on the borderline, they live by making-do; construct, cultivate, and try to create new lifestyles through a subterranean network - the foundations of a possible alternative. “If they survive, it is perhaps solely because they are not alone…”
