I Taste the Blacklight

Présentation

"It all started with a phone call. Your mother's not well.
I knew it was coming. But it was going to be in the distant future, when I was ready.
Not now, not today, not tomorrow.
It's all still there, but it's not what I knew.
Yet what happened to everyone else? Does my stubborn memory refuse to learn?
What I remember has sunk into a dark, fuzzy spiral. My hands would like to reach out to the lost and bring them back into the light.
Now I see that our roles are reversed.
Those who carried me over the waves, who supported me to avoid drowning, are no longer able to save themselves.
Now I'm the one holding their hand and guiding them into the unknown.
I no longer know what waves to sail on. I have no plan for our destination.
Nothing is visible to my eyes, and my memory is confused.
We want to find what is invisible, we want what we can't get.
In the hope of finding a path, I look for certain moments, certain sounds and certain sensations.
I am left with a sense of what was.
