Présentation
Paradoxically Cécile Champy uses digital photography, synonymous with speed and immediacy, to create images full of leisure and serenity. Partly this is due to the places themselves, but also to the length of time. Like paintings, these images are not those of an instant, but of a succession of moments assembled. Cécile Champy has given herself the time to arrange and compose the elements while preserving a strict photographic realism. This visual veracity, applied to the « almost possible » of her images, provokes a certain disquiet in the viewer on regarding this world too well composed, too well ordered.
