Présentation
Bernard Demenge has been working for a long while around popular culture and the collective memory. The Internet, with its amalgamation and post-modern leveling is the ideal space for the multiplication and nihilistic banality of images. It is also a tool and a receptacle for all the reputations. Bernard Demenge has no difficulty in collecting images of various celebrities, with which he associates his own face in a series of droll and troubling photocompositions.
