The relationship between man and animal has been shaped by the history of civilisation, culture and religion. The current situation of many species is dramatic, but the sentimental view of nature and its qualities is on the rise: representations of power animals being used as a sign of spiritual or strictly economic status. So I see an interesting context in keeping an unusual animal in the home. The question is: who is the main subject? Domination, cultural and economic capital, love of nature? For me, it's the animals and their ability to take over.
