Présentation
To photograph the week of celebration is to photograph a community that lives, enjoys and suffers together. It is to photograph my community: my friends who are getting older, our little brothers and sisters who are growing up, traditions that are changing, villages that are becoming urbanized. Photographing this community at the time of the celebration is to emphasize conviviality, laughter and sharing. As the social climate hardens, what is left of the fun and celebration?
