Présentation

« Art is Nature grafted. It is the graft which truly lends exuberance of forms to the material imagination », Gaston Bachelard, L’Eau et les Rêves
In my imagination, I look under the skin, in the veins, into the earth, the water. I slip into other bodies and perceive with other senses the unusual forms of life. I observe the inaccessible, the infinitely small and the incredibly large, the secret changes, the blossoming, the decomposition. It’s my way of exploring this paradoxical decay of a living world and our difficulty in inhabiting it, so contradictory with the proximity of life itself, of all organic matter, with the intimacy of the fleshy rind of the world.
