Présentation

The project is carried out in collaboration with Thomas Jacobs.
On 9 November 1989, the Berlin Wall fell and a year later Germany was reunited. For many it was a celebration, the achievement of freedom, and the realisation of a long-held dream. For others, it was the beginning of a period of violence and fear. As always, history has at least two sides.
On 6 December 1990, Amadeu Antonio Kiowa died in Eberswalde, a town 50 kilometres from Berlin. He was one of the first victims of racist violence in reunified Germany.
