Présentation
The Arcadia of Ancient Greece is the mythical country to which Andreas Meichsner refers in this questioning of the states of happiness such as they are found in the holiday villages of northern Europe. These engaging and affable images show up the complete contradiction between the proclaimed aspirations of individual liberty, and the unbending uniformity proposed by these locations, dedicated, ironically, to that part of our lives where we seek the most freedom - the holiday.
