These images are of an almost cinematic nature. Firstly by their means of creation; a plate camera placed on an elevating platform, and secondly by the actors and the staging, the careful attention to the lighting, the composition and the attitudes of the protagonists. At the same time, the banality of the situations recalls snapshots of daily life without any particular significance. This hesitation between fiction and absence of story, between evidence and strangeness, creates a dilemma which invades both the space represented and the image of this space, leading us to doubt the certainties and to believe the improbable.
