The Boutographies bring with them, as every year, a flowering of new talents. We will not add 'promising', because the promises are already kept... The final choice, always difficult to establish, illustrates once again the particular capacities of photography to confront the most personal sensibilities with the march of the world in all its extent. Whether we are in family identities (with Alejandro Erbetta, Sarah Carp or Sabrina Teggard), social identities (with Thomas Vanden Driessche, Céline Anaya-Gautier, Emmanuel Piau, Luca Giacosa, Fabrice Fouillet, Camilla de Maffei) or sexual identities (in Gilles Picarel and Marcus Koppen), the events that most profoundly shake the lives of beings and societies are not always the most visible, the most spectacular, the most immediately readable.
