Présentation

For ten years now, the Boutographies team has been pursuing the project of giving space to the sometimes diverse and sometimes contradictory functions of today’s photography. Social document, staging or aesthetic experimentation, photography is in its place when it preserves the particular relationship to the world that is theirs: that of a physical presence - therefore insensitive - to a light, at a moment, to produce a sudden image stronger than the simple visible of the place and the moment reunited. Against programming the uninterrupted flow of advertising, television, commercial, tourist images... Les Boutographies also aims to be a place of access to contemporary photography, to its practices in movement, in echo and in permanent resonance with what works our world and its representations.
