Laura Serani

Laura Serani

Curator of photographic and audiovisual projects, Laura Serani is also author of several books and texts. Art director of the 2014 and 2008 editions of the Mois de la Photo in Paris, Art director of the Rencontres de Bamako, African biennial of photography, held in Mali from 2009 to 2014 and curator for Fotografia Europea – Reggio Emilia between 2007 and 2016, she was previously in charge of the Fnac Collection and photographic Galleries in Europe, Brésil and Taiwan, from 1985 to 2006.

Erik Vroons

Erik Vroons is a freelance writer, editor and curator. He is currently active as Senior Editor for GUP Magazine (Chief Editor 2010-2014) and is editor for the anniversary book of the Dutch Press Awards (De Zilveren Camera)  In 2018, as writer, he had contributions for British Journal of Photography, 1000 Words, and contributed an essay to the book 'I am Waldviertel' by Dutch documentary photographer Carla Kogelman. Erik also mentors workshops in Project Development and attends several festivals as portfolio reviewer. He holds an MA in Media Studies (University of Amsterdam) and an MA in Photographic Studies (University Leiden).

 

Alban Lécuyer

Alban Lécuyer

A graduate of the Lille Journalism School (ESJ), Alban Lécuyer is an independent photographer member of Pi.nk collective (Paris) and of Visuelles agency (Nantes). Since 2011, he is engaged in an artistic project dedicated to various forms of disappearance of the city: symbolic disappearances, urban redevelopment, urbicide attempts during times of war or negation of the collective memory of a place. This work has been exposed at the BNF (“Paysages français. Une aventure photographique (1984-2017)”, Paris, 2018), at the Salon de Montrouge (2013), at the BAL (Paris, 2011), in the festivals Les Boutographies (Montpellier, 2017), PhotoPhnomPenh (Cambodia, 2015), Bilbao GetxoPhoto (Spain, 2013), Les Journées photographiques de Bienne (Switzerland, 2011) or Circulation(s) (Paris, 2011). In 2017 he published his first monograph, Coming Shortly: Sarajevo (Intervalles Éditions, Paris), and won the Coup de cœur – Réponses Photo prize at the Montpellier Rencontres photographiques for his series “The Grand Opening of Phnom Penh”.

 

Nicolas Havette

Nicolas Havette

Nicolas Havette, born in 1989, graduated from the École Européenne Supérieure d’Art in Brittany and the Ecole Nationale supérieure de la photographie in Arles. He is actually the artistic director of the The Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation for Documentary Photography and Film, co-curator of the Tainan International Photo Festival (Taiwan) and executive art director of the Chinese International Photography and Art Festival in Zhenzghou (Henan province, China). He is also an expert for the Oeildeep program.  

He has been the director of the Magasin de jouets gallery from 2011 to 2018 and associated artistic director of the festival Les Nuits Photographiques (Paris) from 2010 to 2015.

 

Christian Maccotta
Artistic Director of Boutographies

Christian Maccotta

Artistic director of the Boutographies since 2007, he is a photographer himself and a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (ENSP) at Arles. He holds a Masters by Research in photography and in the past ten years has written texts for various photographers; he is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Montpellier III Paul Valéry.
