Jean-Christophe Godet is the founder and artistic director of the Guernsey Photography Festival, which he created in 2010. He is also artistic director of a new contemporary photography festival, GLAZ, in Rennes (France).
The Guernsey Photography Festival brings together on the island some of the biggest names in international photography, as well as up-and-coming talents, for a month of exhibitions, screenings, debates, training workshops and community events.
The festival is now established as one of the most important cultural events to be held in Guernsey, and has positioned itself among the top photography festivals in Europe.

Françoise Galeron

Françoise Galeron lives and works in Arles. Previously an agriculturalist, she has devoted herself to photography since 2009, graduating from the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d'Arles in 2013. Her work, at the crossroads of poetic fiction and documentary, focuses on the notion of territory and what constitutes its DNA. She has taken part in a number of festivals and exhibitions, including Voies-Off in Arles, Festival Présence Photographie in Montélimar, Supervues in Vaison-la-Romaine, Galerie Le Lac Gelé in Nîmes, Photaumnales in Beauvais as a guest of Géraldine Lay, Festival Photons in Vilnius, Lithuania, Boutographies in Montpellier, Les Nuits Photographiques in Pierrevert, and Prix Polyptyque du Centre de la Photographie de Marseille in 2022. His work les Mourvens was exhibited at the Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles 2024.

Claire Pathé is a photographer, curator and member of the artistic direction of Collectif Fetart since 2016. Within the Collectif Fetart, Claire participates in the curating of the Circulation(s) Festival, which takes place every year at 104 in Paris, but also many other events organized by the collective, she is notably behind the creation of the festival's photo studios hand in hand with Marion Hislen. In 2021, Claire created Les Mesnographies, a free international open-air photo festival, which takes place every year in the large park of the village of Les Mesnuls, in the Yvelines département (78), and for which she is artistic director. Claire also works on a voluntary basis with young people to combat school drop-out, through photo workshops.

Véronique Prugnaud is Associate Director of The Eyes, a publishing and project development company specializing in photography. After studying business and cultural project management, she became particularly interested in the production and development of cultural events, mainly in the field of music, both in France and abroad (China, Australia). In 2009, she confirmed her interest in photography by joining the Paris Photo curatorship. In 2013, she embarked on The Eyes adventure, combining her passion for images with the development of a protean project combining publishing, consultancy and the production of photo projects. Today co-director of The Eyes, she continues to publish books while developing artistic projects and mediation formats in partnership with institutions and major photography events (podcasts, Artist Talks by The Eyes, The Eyes Talks). In 2022, she created and presided over the Eyes Wide Open association, dedicated to the development of committed cultural projects. (1st photo book grants, Ronan Guillou creation grants, Civis Maritimus program) Drawing on all these experiences, she regularly takes part in training courses for international photo-business students. A volunteer member of the Filles de la Photo board, she initiated and co-pilots the Filles de la Photo Mentoring program.

Christian Maccotta

CHRISTIAN MACCOTTA

Artistic director of the Boutographies since 2007, he is a photographer himself and a graduate of the ENSP Arles. He has a master's degree in photography and has been writing for many photographers for the past ten years. He also lectures at the University of Montpellier III.
